Poppy & Rob
Poppy and Rob tied the knot at the enchanting Bower in the Wood wedding venue, nestled in the heart of East Sussex. Their intimate celebration, shared with their closest friends and family, was a heartfelt reflection of their unique love story and shared passion for medieval history.
The couple brought a magical, old-world charm to their day—guests arrived dressed in traditional medieval attire, and thoughtful details, like hand-carved wooden runes as wedding favours, added to the immersive experience. One of the most memorable moments came when Poppy and Rob walked through a majestic archway of raised swords, a ceremonial tribute in honour of their union.
Their beloved dog, Hex, also played a special role in the ceremony. Held by Rob, Hex watched lovingly as Poppy made her way down the aisle—a moment that beautifully captured the warmth and closeness of the day.
The Bower in the Wood, with its lush woodland setting and storybook ambience, was the perfect backdrop for their Viking-inspired celebration.
Reflecting on the day, Poppy shared: “It really was the best day of our lives.”
